This is not a networking event with a dinner attached. It is a dinner. Thirty founders, one table, seats assigned so you sit next to people you do not know and would never have found on your own. Conversation prompts sit on the table for whenever a lull arrives, and there is a firm norm against pitching, recruiting or handing anything out. People return for this one more than anything else we run, which probably says something about how rare an unhurried evening has become.
