Joining a group

A group is a room you are in: a feed, a calendar, jobs, quick posts and a chat.

Groups gather people around a place, an industry or a scene. Inside one you get a feed, the group's events, its jobs and quick posts, and a chat with everybody in it.

Being in a group also changes what you see elsewhere: posts and events from your groups get a lift in the rankings, because a room you are already in is a warmer introduction than a stranger.

Joining a group further than 7 miles away needs Unlimited — joining is acting, not looking.
