This is a test post while we get the group set up. Every Friday morning we run an open coffee table in Durham built around one idea: most people only ever meet inside their own circle. Founders meet founders. Nonprofit folks meet nonprofit folks. University people meet university people. The point of this table is to break that pattern on purpose. How it works: we go around once, everyone gets 60 seconds to say who they are, what they're working on, and the one thing they're looking for. Then we make introductions in the room. No pitch decks, no name badges, no selling from the front. Who tends to show up: early-stage founders, operators, freelancers and consultants, community organizers, and people who just moved to the Triangle and want a way in. Bring: yourself, and one specific ask. Vague asks get vague help. Coffee is on us for first-timers. Reply here if you're planning to come so we can save a seat.
